This album was a great progression for them. There are a few songs on here that especially highlight the growth - it’s very solid all the way through. It’s grown on me even more in the past few days.

 

This one has become one of my favorites also. Really good song

 

Oh, so this is actually decent. No Fireworks or anything, but definitely more consistent than I was expecting after the singles.

 

I was like, weirdly into that record for about 2 weeks and then never listened to it again. "Keep Your Head" slays though.

This record is definitely a progression for me, but I will always gravitate towards the sound from The Finer Things. I really like "Criminal", but I'm just not as into the more mid-tempo stuff from this band. I do think they have a great album in them somewhere though.

 

Keep Your Head was the best song on that album lol

 

Ok yeah this is much better than I was expecting. Doesn't touch The Finer Things but right up there with the last record

 

YOU SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTH

 

Criminal and frozen plesantly surprised me, very solid tracks. First half of the record is really strong

 

Nothing HTL did has aged well. Most notably being that absolutely terrible secret track on the first record.

Three Oh Nine still jams though

...oh dear.

 

This album is a lot of fun on first listen. Derek can fucking sing.

13 tracks seems a bit excessive though.

 

Yeah Derek's voice is always great. I kind of take it for granted at this point.

 

I just wish that they were able to utilize his voice more effectively ughhh

 

Yeah I would rather this being a straight up 10 track 30 mins

 

There's no reason for a pop punk album to NOT be this. That new Warm Thoughts album is exactly that, 10 songs in 30 minutes. You don't need anything else.

Also, why does Mark Hoppus' part sound like something out of an Escape the Fate song.

Really wanted to hate this, ended up loving it.

Safe Haven, Lightning are rippers.

 

I'm not really sure why you'd want to hate an album?

 

More in the "I don't really listen to bands like this anymore and I probably won't dig this" vein.

 

I’m starting to come around on this. Cut Through the Static is actually my favorite so far. LOVE that melody.

 

Safe Haven is such a jam. I want more of something like it.

 

The fiancée loves this band. She went to 4 targets today to find/buy the album. All sold out. She was so upset. When she got home I told her they’ll be selling the album at their acoustic show tomorrow. She called me a dick for not telling her sooner.

 

This is really growing on me

 

I'm really torn over what they'll play on Warped cause I want to hear more than the 3 singles from this but I also don't want them to not play Remedy and Simple Existence

 

It’s critical that they play Critical.
