Who else is going to Celebration? I got really sick yesterday and it went on to today so I'm hoping I am recovered in time for my 6am flight tomorrow.

Catching up here, but my favorite antagonists are:

Maul
Kylo Ren
Palpatine
Vader
Hondo
Triple Zero & BT-1 (they must be counted together in my eyes)
Cad Bane
Ventress
Thrawn
Krell

 

Holy shit I’m thoroughly embarrassed I forgot Cad Bane. He was my fucking avatar on this website for the longest time lol he’d be my number 5 after Maul. Also Krell would be in mine too lol what’s triple zero from?

 

Dr. Aphra/Vader comics. A murderous version of C3P0, it's awesome.

Also totally forgot to add Dr. Aphra to my top heroes/protagonist list. She's one of my favorites for sure.

 

If they ever did a sequel to Solo, I'd want Cad Bane to show up.

 

I mean we don’t know how long his species lasts. Maybe Mandalorian or Cassian? I do expect him in the last season of Clone Wars too.

 

Krell is a great villain

Hondo is great but is he really an antagonist? Feel like he's in the middle.

 

And Rebels did a GREAT job with Thrawn. The original Thrawn trilogy from Zahn was so good and I think Rebels capture his essence from those books.

 

Definitely a grey area with Hondo, he's a primary antagonist in a few Clone Wars arcs, but he's an ally a lot too.

Anyone watch the Freemaker Adventures? Wondering if it's worth checking out or too kiddie.

 

I mean ventress helps Ashoka and obi wan too at certain points. Id say he is more in the middle than most but for the most part hes an antagonist. Hes a pirate king and he tells his pirates to kill younglings at one point lol

 

Hondo has been allied with the protagonists way more often than against them

 

I just went through the clone wars episodes he’s in really quick. 6 he’s an antagonist. 3 he helps them and one was a brief thing where he gets paid to drop off some weapons and leaves once the separatists start shooting. Rebels I feel he helps but he still double crosses them I remember.

I’d say he’s more in the middle but definitely leans more bad. Once again he had no problem with killing Jedi younglings....and only changed his mind when he could profit off of saving the good guys.

 

In Rebels he helps more often than not.

 

It's probably a testament to my short memory that I don't remember him being anything worse than self-serving

 

to be fair, his demeanor isnt so "villainous". Hes a comedic character and hes so light heartedly in all of his selfishness to make money it really doesnt seem like hes a bad guy lol
