Forces of Destiny should be pretty cool, even if 30 year old dudes aren't the target audience, I'll take what I can get haha.

The stream went in and out for me a lot. I hope it doesn't do that tomorrow during the Last Jedi panel. That Carrie Fisher tribute brought the feels.

Carrie Fisher tribute got me, too. One celebrity death in the past few years that seems to consistently get to me, especially knowing we'll be seeing her in Episode VIII.

 

Yeah, the tribute hit me hard too

 

I don't know how I'll react when I see her in the film. So Sad.

 

So I guess some fun news from the Filoni & Hidalgo panel, also slightly a Rebels spoiler: Rex lives! He's confirmed to be the old bearded rebel on Endor in Return of the Jedi

 

I did finish Thrawn last night. I powered through.

It's a fantastic read and may be my new favorite canon book.

I am too lazy for spoiler tags, so I will be super general. But the way this ends... I am interested to see where they continue a few things. Whether another book, or tv show, comic, or maybe a movie.

 

Debating whether to use my audible credit on it this month or to pick up a hard copy. Thoughts?

 

I always do hard copy. But that's just me. Partly because I just love the physical feel and flipping actual pages and partly because I read it faster than the audio book can read it to me. It's all about personal preference.

 

Thanks. I have a long commute everyday, so I've been leaning more towards audiobooks lately. But there is something about having a hard copy that just can't be beat. I think I might go for the hard copy on this one.

 

Rebels season 4 confirmed to be the final season!

Saw that on Facebook. I just finished season 3 yesterday. I guess I picked a good time to start this series

They showed the first episode of S4 at the panel and it's good. Very Sabine focused and fans of Clone Wars will be happy with a reprised role in it. Coolest announcement to me was Warwick Davis being announce as Rukh, Thrawn's Noghri bodyguard from Heir to the Empire.

There's quite a few people talking about it on Twitter and a few different photos, so it seems to be legit.
