Watching the season 2 episode with Rex and the clones. They are going into the storm to scramble the sensors and Kanan says “we’ll be in there blind,” and Rex says “it won’t be blind for a Jedi” and the camera goes to Kanan.

    What foreshadowing

I hope he doesn’t as his experience was mixed at best. But if he feels good about it, I’d be down for padawan or Jedi knight Finn.

That’s great to hear. I have faith that Lucasfilm heard his and the fans frustrations on how his story was completed and will rectify it in a big way if he comes back.

I must now go to the source Supporter

If the film turns out to be pretty good, I’ll be more than happy to skip right over TROS and watch this as the trilogy capper instead. Kylo Ren’s suddenly gone? Yeah he died. Anyway.

ComicBookMovie isn’t exactly the most reliable source. I’m going to wait until pretty much anyone else reports it.

Hard to believe if there’s a Rey film there wouldn’t be Finn / Poe in some capacity

at the end of the day everyone has a number but i wouldn't count on seeing Oscar in anything Star Wars ever again after the comments he has very openly made since RoS lol

Disney 100% has a responsibility to at least bring them both a script though. You gotta hope you have something compelling and interesting they'd be interested in.

They could easily be written out. On a mission somewhere, serving in a critical role elsewhere in the galaxy, etc. Ideally, both would return. But Poe would be easier to leave out since this is said to be focused on Rey rebuilding the Jedi order. Finn makes more sense to come back if they can only get one of them back.

Look how easily they wrote off Cara Dune LOL. They just put some dialogue about her being recruited by the New Republic for its Special Forces team and left it at that. I can see them doing the same for Poe. Finn deservers a better resolution to his story for sure.

It’s less about Finn deserving more and more that if the movie is focused on the new Jedi order, he should be around. Now that we know he is force sensitive. Could still be written out, but having him be Rey’s first student (before the film takes place) and having him around as a now fellow master or knight would make more sense than him just being gone.

I agree and hope the film utilizes this plot to some degree. Missed opportunity if they don’t.

Ok the animation doesn’t look so bad (except Dooku) on this night sisters episode. Could be turning around for me here

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

while I like a lot of stuff before, I think most people agree the Mortis/Nightsisters duo is where the show comes into its own. from there on it's mostly gravy

also it's wild how much the animation improves even with the obvious caveat that it's over a decade of time. s7 has some of the most beautiful animation I've seen

I wonder what people thought watching the early show as it aired week to week

It's crazy how inconsistent Bad Batch is. Just finished S2 and some episodes I ended up barely paying attention to (mostly the Sid episodes) but some of it is some of the all time best storytelling Star Wars has to offer. I absolutely love where they're going with the portrayal of the transition from the fall of the Republic to the height of the Empire and the phasing out of the Clones, it's a story I've always wanted to see and they're doing it so well

Started Jedi Survivor tonight. Wish I had more time to play, but I've got a busy few days ahead. Hoping to knock some more out on Sunday.

there were only like 2-3 episodes I wasn't into with Bad Batch and they were all in the first half of s2 lol. from the Chuchi episode onwards it was all bangers
