High Republic panel is tomorrow so I’d expect Phase 3 announcements. My guess is they’re waiting for the current story to conclude before stepping more into the era.

Hearing speculation that the new "dark Jedi" we see in the Ashoka trailer are not actually Sith or dark Jedi, but actually going to be "Gray Jedi" loyal to the Imperial Remnant based on the Imperial Knights faction from the Legacy comics. People are pointing to the Orange not Red lightsabers as a tell.

  4. Was Rian Johnson's trilogy scrapped and I missed the news?

I did some searching and it looks like we've got an official Ahsoka thread already.

I don't think it's ever been fully confirmed as scrapped, but that's the assumption at this point.

Eh… I dunno. From what I’ve heard about Filoni’s view on Grey Jedi, it’s that they don’t exist. It’s the light side or the dark side. So it would be surprising that his show would be the one to make that canon. Anything is possible. Views can change. If what we were told about the force before is true, light rises to meet the dark and dark to light. Entering a third variable to that scenario doesn’t make sense to me. I get why fans like the idea, but I don’t think I’d want that to happen. Of course, how they handle grey Jedi could change my mind. But at the moment, that’s a pass for me.

I wonder if they're closer to something like a Temple Guard. Maybe trying to stop Thrawn from accessing the World Between Worlds? I know the temple guards had yellow blades, but orange isn't too far off.

I need to rewatch the trailer, but it looked like the one was shooting Ahsoka’s ship. So I don’t think they’re out for Thrawn.

I’d be more excited if Watts wasn’t involved. But the Daniels, Bryce DH, and such make me feel a bit better about it.

Given it’s Heir to the Empire influenced Clones may be likely or given the one scene looked like the World between Worlds, there might be some timeline shenanigans at play.

Ahh, I kind of forgot about the other one. I was only thinking of the older one who looked like he was in the World Between Worlds.

Cautiously optimistic about the films. But the next couple of shows have me really stoked.

Okay, but, can someone explain why Sabine has long hair? Haha it’s bothering me. They have showed the photo of her with short hair and it looked great. Clearly some time passed, but why go with long hair? Wait. I think I just figured out a possible explanation. Long hair makes it easier for stunt people to hide that they aren’t the actual actor. There could be other reasons for the change, but I’m sticking with helping to hide stunt people because Sabine is going to kick lots of ass.

Okay, I had to go back and look, but I don’t think that’s the world between worlds. It is very similar though. The world between worlds was much cleaner. There was nothing on the ground like we see here. As well, we can see trees behind Ahsoka. So, at the moment, I’m gonna say it’s not WBW. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a Jedi temple of some sort.

In the image they showed at the convention, she has her short hair. I assume they're retconning her short hair in the Rebels epilogue just to better show the passage of time, then she'll cut it before the adventure.

But they showed the passage of time by having her hair be even shorter originally! Haha

I think it's just later in the timeline. I think Ahsoka went straight to her when she got off of Malachor which is why she had the white robe. This is likely a separate meeting from what we see in Rebels, later in the timeline. They showed a still of Sabine with the short hair and in her armor.

I also don’t think it’s the WBW and do think it’s a jedi temple

I said I saw the photo of short hair! Haha but I need her to have short hair again. I’m sticking with the change to help with stunts.
