Yeah, if there’s anyone that hasn’t seen Rebels, I can’t recommend it enough between now and August.

Whatever anyone thinks of Episode 9, Daisy Ridley was a shining light in that entire trilogy and I can't wait to have her back, hopefully with a story that lives up to her as a character.

Unofficially, I would guess. From my understanding, their plan is to see how this one does, before planning/announcing a sequel.

James Mangold film, if it actually materializes, has a lot of potential. Love that he described it as “biblical.” Hopefully it gets a chance to play with the idea of the Force in genuinely creative and compelling ways, like a Last Jedi without the baggage of Luke fandom to throw some nerds off.

Another project with Rey, with a Pakistani filmmaker, is… worth paying attention to. I just don’t know how polluted the Rey waters are post-TROS. But, there’s a hypothetical version of it that could be fun? Idk.

Everything else is thoroughly not for me, at all.

Oh I am loving the vibe of this. Definitely gels with the “Amblin” tone they described it as early on.

    Somehow Rey Skywalker returned

Very interested in seeing how the new Jedi Order is managed. Mangold telling the tale of the first Jedi has to be biblical and whacky. No other way around it.

No release year makes me nervous

I’m guessing Mando will be first. Maybe 2-3 years? I’d expect the Rey one to be at least 5 years out. Not sure on the first Jedi one.

Based on reports up to this point, it seems the New Jedi Order one will be the first in December 2025.

I hope the Mangold one is literally called Star Wars: The First Jedi.

  15. Surprised nothing around the high republic? I guess the acolyte is technically right?

I have not been able to read everything coming out. But interesting. I figured they’d want to give a little more time since they are setting it 15 years post TROS and it was filmed 5 years ago. Thought they’d wait a few more years to film. Guess not.

Not technically, it is. Right? Haha

  18. I just can't remember anything anymore and was too lazy to Google. I think I remember it taking place at the end of the high republic era.

The majority of the Acolyte trailer is on twitter if you look for it. What little we see looks pretty great.

Tony Gilroy on SW stage said we're hitting the big moments. Can't wait to see the declaration of Rebellion.

I’d like to see a teenage Grogu be a part of Rey’s new Jedi order
