Now it'd be awesome to get Glover to voice Lando in Rebels. Billy Dee Williams, love the guy, sounds like an old man. Which obviously makes complete sense but yeah, I just think it'd be cool.

 

I finally got around to reading Ahsoka. I thought it was great, well written for the most part and just overall a good look into the character. I would love to see an animated version of it.

 

I just finished editing an episode of my new podcast that's all about Clone Wars. Will be up Tuesday and tomorrow I'm recording one on Rebels with @Jacob Tender for the following Tuesday. Really stoked on both of these episodes!

 

Marvel is going to release a Darth Maul comic that takes place pre-Phantom Menace. Stoked.

 

we got the new BB8 sphero's in today. gonna have to resist hard from getting one.

 

Another amazing episode! Who I suspected as Fulcrum was confirmed. Thrawn was savage as fuck! My god they are killing it with his character.

They have yet to really go far enough to actually kill one of the main characters. Not sure if the show will go there, but if they will go there, Thrawn will absolutely be involved and it will be brutal and beautiful all at once.

 

Haven't seen last night yet but I would absolutely love it if this show got super dark. They definitely need to kill someone.

 

This comes out this week and I'm so pumped. Best addition to the canon.

 

Catalyst is solid.

 

Anyone playing the Star Wars Destiny card/dice game?

 

I felt it was guaranteed a ways back, but it's all but officially confirmed that the end game for season 3 of Rebels will involve Obiwan

 

Good episode. Love me some Maul.

 

Right now there's two major plot lines. Ezra/Maul/Obiwan and then Thrawn vs the rest of the rebels. I'm thinking near the end of the season we see Thrawn strike a major blow to the rebels which separates Kanan and Ezra from the rest of the group and then we get Obiwan vs Maul. It'll be interesting to see which plot line gets the main focus.

 

I'd love to see there be that anthology Obi Wan film where we see the finale with Maul. But that would probably never happen. 90% of Star Wars watchers only know the films and think he's dead so they would be so confused.

 

Just finished Catalyst and it was fine...it didn't really end up going anywhere at the end. I will say that Luceno is a significantly better writer than wendig. The aftermath books are terribly written in comparison.

 

Yesterday watched Episode 1 for the first time in like 15 years; man, what a piece of s*** that film is. Episode 2 not much better either. Currently about 30 minutes into Episode 3, and a good amount better already

 

I watched Episode III again the other day. It's pretty bad, but I feel like it could have been a really solid film if you just make a few changes so Annikan's turn is more believable and not so sudden.

I would do something similar to what Belated Media's version of Episode III is, but I would want to do it so that all of rebels and Clone wars stay cannon. Have Obi-wan still conscious when Annikan kills Dooku, then Obiwan is forced to report this to the council and they expel Annikan from the order. Then Palpatine takes him under his wing in a military position and manipulates Annikan into thinking the Jedi either orchestrated or prolonged the war along with it looking like they put Padme in danger of death (then when he says a line like "from my point of view the Jedi are evil" it actually makes sense).

 

2 is the worst of the prequels. So it's not much better because it's actually worse.

They all suck and we are better pretending they don't exist. We have new movies worthy of the name now.

 

I like the prequels.

 

Their existence allowed The Clone Wars series to happen. So I can't totally black them out.
