there are very strong rumors of a Obiwan/Maul fight later in the season.
Also now that I saw the episode, Ezra says "twin suns". Tatooine. But did he see them because Maul was looking for Obiwan or was it because Luke is the key to destroying the Sith? Or both?

 

I was wondering about the "two suns" line as well. I'm guessing we're gonna get a final showdown between Obiwan and Maul.

 

I hope so. Would love to see more of Obiwan, but I also kind of wish they would save something like that for a potential spin off movie.

I'm probably seeing things, but the old dude in the speeder in the "next time" preview looks kind of familiar, but I couldn't get a good look at him.

 

I liked the episode as well, but the ending seemed a little rushed.

 

Just finished the Ahsoka book. Really enjoyed it. No major reveals really, just a nice character adventure for her.

There were a couple small canon reveals, but nothing crazy. Like, the origin of the name Fulcrum

 

You already finished it? Damn, didn't that come out like yesterday haha? I need to order my copy, but I'm a pretty slow reader, it'll take me a couple of weeks probably.

 

Also, I've never been into video games, but the new Old Republic trailer is sick:

 

It's a very quick read. Read half yesterday and finished it this morning. I've always been a fast reader as well.

 

I need to pick up my copy. I forgot to preorder, but the bookstore near me usually has all the newest releases so I'll probably just buy it there this weekend. Ahsoka is one of my favorite Star Wars characters, so it's good to hear it's a enjoyable read.

 

The expansion they're doing is great, it's pretty much what I wanted from the game originally 5 years ago. Sad that my old computer broke and I can't play the game anymore.

 

yeah, this looks amazing. can the next Star Wars Story movie be from this era?

also, does this mean they are bringing Old Republic stories into canon? or are they just expanding the Legends universe?

 

I didn't even realize this was out now. I have lots of reading to do, as usual.

Nice. I'm in the middle of reading a few books at the moment, one being about 600 pages that's all about Kobe Bryant's life hah. So it'll be a bit before I'm back on the Star Wars books. I did pick up the TFA book recently, though.

 

The Old Republic was released in 2011, before the Disney deal, so it's not canon. But since it's an MMO there's still money to be made from it, which is why it's still around with more content being made. Long story short, it's Legends.

 

Another solid episode of Rebels! Next weeks preview has me worried.

 

Is Rebels on Netflix? I'd love to actually start watching that and The Clone Wars or whatever that other Cartoon Network canon show was.

 

Rebels is sadly not on Netflix. The Clone Wars movie and series is though. The other Cartoon Network show you mentioned is not canon.

So does anyone have any theories as to what becomes of Ezra and Kanan before A new Hope? Are they still around? Dead? Make an appearance in Rogue One?

 

Random guess: Ezra kills Kanan which brings him back to the light when he realized what he did. He then goes into exile to be picked up in a book down the road.

 

I think since we're already getting a Clone Wars cameo in Rogue One, having two Rebels as well might be a bit much. maybe a mention, though.
