Issue #2 of the Rise of Kylo Ren was solid. Really liking this series so far. There's a line in this that also hints at the High Republic Era rumors for the franchise being true.

The storytelling potential is crazy with them meeting. Discussing their regrets, the way everything they did played exactly into Palpatine's hand. I'm really excited for this.

small question from someone just dipping their toes into this universe: do I watch Rebels before Clone Wars season 7, or vice versa? what is the chronological order of this thing??

 

They're pretty independent of each other.

 

Clone Wars takes place between Ep 2 and 3.

Rebels takes right before Rogue One/A New Hope

A lot of Clone Wars threads are touched on in Rebels, so it’s best to watch Clone Wars first. You meet a bunch of characters for the first time there.

 

thanks, I'm about two seasons into Clone Wars atm. mostly just wandering where S7 is gonna fit in but I guess I'll find out when I get there ha

 

Yeah I don't think any of us really know if there will be any threads connecting S7 to Rebels. There's a chance it could retroactively set some things from Rebels up but even if so it's not gonna make it so you have to have seen Rebels first.
