I’m so thankful Episode 9 is coming out this December. It’s easily the most excited/anticipated I’ve ever been for a movie. My love for Star Wars has grown borderline out of control and waiting until December is going to feel so long but luckily there’s so much this year like endgame, lion king, toy story 4, Aladdin, joker, frozen, IT 2, Men in Black and a whole slew of huge movies to hold me over. So grateful it’s such a packed year.

TV shows will be the focus during the hiatus. I would expect 2022 to be when the next film is released.

 

I also would like a sequel trilogy LEGO game.

Hiatus could be longer. They didn’t give a year for when a movie will be released again.

 

Hey as long as Rians trilogy is still a go I don’t care. Just means more production time for both his and B&Ws series to be phenomenal and not force it out with two year production cycles like all the other movies

 

I have a hard time getting excited for the shows because Star Wars = event movies to me, so I hope they're able to keep them up.

 

I’m fine with a hiatus. It will make each film more of an event, like how the prequels felt (I’m assuming the OT felt that way too but I wasn’t alive when they were released). Rogue one and Solo never felt like event films for me since they weren’t episodic films and they were released so soon after the episodic films.

 

I like a few year break in between movies or movie series to focus on the shows. Clone Wars and Rebels are both very very good. If we get that quality with the Mandalorian I'll be pumped. Not as excited about the Cassian show but K2SO being back is pretty cool.

 

I'm so glad they're starting with Episode IX instead of leaving it for like a big Saturday night reveal or something. Just BAM right out of the gate! BOOOM!!!

 

Is the stars wars site the only place to watch the panel live?

 

Last second potential title spoiler I've seen online: Episode IX: Will of the Force

No clue if there's merit to that but if so, I don't know how I feel about it...

I'm planning on taking an official work break away from my desk for this reveal. Hopefully they play the trailer and everything in the first 15 minutes.

 

I think they waited until the end for TLJ, not that they have to here, just saying.

 

I am hoping they kick the panel off with the title reveal but trailer will absolutely be the very very last thing they do.
