I’m partially concerned about Campea not liking it but besides him I really just care about what Kristian Harloff and Ken Napzok think. Harloff seemed to really like it thankfully

 

Is that the same campea guy that considers Man Of Steel to be a masterpiece

 

He’s a flawed man.

 

Campea said nearly the same thing word-for-word about TLJ as well.

The fetch quest plotting is something I was disappointed to read way back in like summer when it started leaking. Hopefully I can sort of ignore it and enjoy the character moments.

I’m disappointed.

It’s a movie that’s very much at odds with “The Last Jedi,” in terms of sheer volume of references and callbacks, the message of The Force and the Jedi and its choices with the characters.

It has a few moments of emotion and kinetic thrills. But it jumps around so much and never stops introducing characters, going to another planet and forcing callbacks that it doesn’t ever feel like it knows where it’s going and where it ends up isn’t satisfying.

It’s dark, both in tone and cinematography. And almost needlessly so. There’s very little charisma and character from the cast this time around.

I don’t think it’s bad, but I do agree that it’s dull.[/spoilers]

I've decided we need to force choke whoever started this "Palp" shortening without talking to me. It's bad.
