Details from a major fight scene have leaked and, my god, they are amazing.

 

there's soooooo much more that's out there right now than TFA or Rogue One already. Kind of crazy.

 

This might sound silly but: Is it spoiler-ish in the sense of plot details? Or just what's happening in the fight?

I looked. It's spoilery but not enough to ruin your experience or anything. Now I'm just excited to see what events lead up to it.

 

I don't want to know anything. Obviously I will learn more from official sources as we approach release date. But honestly I don't even need a trailer. But that's just me.

Someone claims to have gotten their hand on promo material that has a title.

Star Wars: Fall Of The Resistance

 

Seems plausible.

 

If true it would certainly be in line with the title theme of the second film in each series (Attack of the Clones and The Empire Strikes Back).

 

Title is a bit of a spoiler haha. Empire doesn't say that they're going to finish on top just they're coming back for more. This title is basically saying this movie will end with the good guys losing.

 

it's a weird title if that's the truth. The Resistance isn't some huge organization. It's big in TFA but it's honestly a bigger blow that the republic and republic fleet are lost IMO. I have a feeling that's not the title.

 

I'm not too excited about that title either. I think what bothers me is that it sounds passive compared to The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Revenge of the Sith, Attack of the Clones, and even The Force Awakens, which are all active and action-oriented phrases. They're kick-off points and causes for what happens next, while Fall of the Resistance sounds more like an ending or an effect. Obviously it's hard and maybe pointless to judge a title outside of the context of the movie or even a rough story, but that's where I stand on it now.

While obviously unofficial, I really liked the sound of Reign of the First Order, pitched on a Movie Fights podcast a few months ago.
