It’s a “dud” as far as I’m concerned.

 

We as a forum should know better than acknowledge a goddamn Forbes CONTRIBUTOR.

They’re essentially unpaid bloggers.

 

It's not even a good analysis of the extremely limited data. I woulda been laughed out of class if I turned something like that in.

Looking at his other "articles" it's clear someone wants the clicks. But jesus.

Comparing a youtube review to a blockbuster is weird, but the RLM video had jokes that hit and the movie didn't for the most part. That opening scene of the movie where the "Can you hear me now?" prank call joke that ends with a yo momma joke was awful.

 

Except me and the entire showing I was In were howling so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

God, Forbes has to be one of the most user hostile garbage websites out there.

Well you can’t. Humor is entirely subjective so they can’t invalidate my experience, and to be fair neither can I theirs. It’s a shame they didn’t like it but also I find them to be insufferable even when I agree with their criticisms.

 

I'd rather listen to Poe and Hux argue for 30 minutes than any film YouTuber.

 

But thanks to all the dumbfuck edgelords out there there’s no chance in hell we’ll ever get a mainline Star Wars this Smart and exciting again.

(Obvs I am not referring to RLM they’re doing their jobs)

I was thinking about what a late 80s or early 90s Star Wars trilogy would’ve looked like had Lucas continued to tell the story of Luke/Leia/Han.

 

Saw this for the 3rd time last night and it was the most enjoyable watch yet. I've really come to appreciate Finn's arc more and more and particularly how Rose and DJ help shape it. With Rose, Finn gets to see someone who actual has principles and passionately defends them, whereas DJ is basically the capitalist version of Finn. Doesn't want to be involved with the conflict and is only looking out for himself. I would still execute it slightly differently, but I think it's a solid plot regardless.

Though, while I still think it's fine within the context of the story, Holdo not explaining the plan to Poe annoyed me a little more this time.
