*vader-goes-ham-on-the-block* Rouge One-esque rampage of Luke fucking Kylo's suicide squad up with force lightning. Then epic duel between Snoke, Kylo, and Rey. Finn comes out of nowhere and omni-blades Snoke's ass without us ever learning anything about his dumbass character. Phasma literally crushes the resistance for shits and gigs, but keeps Poe around as a sex slave (because *sploosh*) and institutes a socialist democracy. Kylo and Rey basically kill each other before Rey gets a battle meditation-ish vision and starts a real new jedi order and Kylo's life and love for his passed family flashes before his eyes and he becomes terrified of death and goes into hiding.

Re watched TFA last night. Whatever it's shortcomings may be it's such a fun new entry in the series. Also the pacing is great. Nazi/First Order scene is still really bad.

Seems kind of weird to have that as the name of the second installment in this trilogy, but it works. Also, odd nitpick here, but wish it didn't start with "The" and hope the next one doesn't.

I just figured Lucasfilm would wait until Rogue One was a little further out of the public's mind since they were so adamant on building up the first stand alone. It's finally starting to lose steam at the box office though, so I guess it makes sense.

 

Yep, could be referring to Rey and Luke.

 

Cannot wait to finally see the Knights.

 

I like the title, and am so hyped for December.
