Sony is historically pretty bad with cutting together trailers so im not crazy about the amount of info dump in this trailer (just sell a vibe but idk im not on a hollywood marketing team so what do i know)

However, based on everything i've seen thus far and heard about it, i'm confident "very good" is the floor for this movie. The ceiling of course is "one of the best american animated films ever made and potentially the best superhero movie ever".

If nothing else it will be better than every superhero movie released since.... Into the Spider-Verse in 2018

Rumored runtime is 2 hours and 20 minutes which would make it the longest animated film made by an american studio.

If the movie is incredible and metro boomin comes through with a classic soundtrack it’s going to create a discussion

I’m still scratching my head at the June release date. It’s opening at the beginning of a month that also has Transformers, The Flash, and Indiana Jones 5 the following weeks. No doubt that’s going to hurt the box office in such a busy month.

I checked cause I couldn’t remember all that was coming out, but there are 7 movies in June/July I’d consider blockbuster that I’ll be seeing. Then three others that may be successful but I feel like are down a level. In July/August. June is insane.

This is tied with Oppenheimer as my most anticipated of the summer.

I wouldn’t expect Spidey to still be in your theater with all the other movies coming out after it and before Barbie/Oppenheimer. I’m sure it’ll be on some screens, but not super wide at that point.
