Lol, she’s the best. There’s nothing we wouldn’t/haven’t watched together. She saw Hereditary with me in the theater on opening night and we’ve even watched Shortbus together. Now my dad, that’s another story...

This was awesome. Somehow, despite all that I’d heard of this movie beforehand, I wasn’t quite expecting just how bonkers it would be. Also it was cool to hear Tune-Yards in this.

Sorry to bump this, but I finally got to see this and holy fuck. I knew it was going to get weird but I did not expect THAT at all. Thoroughly happy I was able to avoid all spoilers for this for like...8 months or whatever. God damn.

  15. Loved this so much more on second watch. Lands a bit better when you a) know what you're in for and b) recognize you're currently being exploited by capitalism. Takes the story from shocking absurdism to relatable cautionary tale.

Finally got around to watching this. Loved it. Fantastic, funny, layered movie.

Obviously, the final act is crazy, but the weirdest part is when you realize Armie Hammer was just playing himself.

This movie has been on my list forever, not knowing anyone about it, so when I finally watched it last night I was very surprised and loved it

Boots Riley’s recent-ish show I’m a Virgo is also def worth a watch. Incredibly mind-bending, highly original stuff.
