I am really surprised this isnt already streaming.

 

i'm really glad it isn't, i love waiting for a record to come in the post and listening to it for the first time that way

 

I on the other hand have no patients. But is is always nice to see an artist make it to the finish line without a major leak.

 

I got shipping/tracking info today.

So weird this hasnt been streamed or leaked yet, I guess they are a fairly small band.....still surprising though.

The only track that's been remotely interesting for me thus far has been "No Halo", on the other hand I enjoyed most of 'Joy, Departed'.

 

It's my 21st birthday tomorrow, would be amazing if it streamed then, otherwise happy to wait till Friday for what I'm pretty sure will be AOTY barring Brand New getting off their arse!

 

The album not leaking yet really isn't surprising. There seems to have been a decline in leaks the last few years. Same for streams since the switch to Friday's for new music.

 

Eh, it's always fluctuated and been somewhat random imo. But regardless.....I just want to hear the album at this point haha.

I listened to that episode yesterday. I really enjoyed it. Cam seems like such a genuine and kind person.


I'm way more excited for this record than I thought I would be.

Was wondering with all of these reviews if a stream was coming

 

no stream coming. advance streams on websites for full albums are kind of bad/dumb now. why do that, when you can push to spotify and see revenue/plays/playlisting there? it's something we'll see less and less of over the months and years

Not sure what took me so long to listen to this band but damn the new singles are good. Loving A Better Sun. Gonna go through their discography in anticipation of Friday.

 

Absolutely makes sense for established bands. I think it's something that's necessary for new upcoming bands though. Good luck with the release, very excited

 

My preorder still hasn't shipped. Getting antsy over here for this!

Man, this album is great. The new Mount Eerie and Sorority Noise records in the same week... It's gonna get emotional up in here.

 

Wow, so pumped. Just checked the tracking info and now the scheduled delivery is TODAY. What a fantastic surprise. Yesterday, the scheduled delivery was Monday, the 20th.

 

It's out there btw. Poor quality, but it is out there.
