Jay Weinberg out of Slipknot, not a HUGE loss imo. There are going to be other incredible drummers to take his place, probably better than him even. I guess he has had problems with other groups he was in, like Madball and Against Me! And Laura even warned Slipknot of his involvement? He was in Slipknot for awhile though after Joey, so it’s kinda surprising. Fans seemed to really not like him, though. I thought he was serviceable. But still, he was and will never be Joey.

dude has always been problematic, talented but can't keep onto a band for long.

he was fired from both bands he played with prior to slipknot and now slipknot.

 

Odd to hide behind the notion of a creative decision if you're kicking the guy out for his personality. You can make a perfectly neutral statement if that's the reason.

Is it not still four? I'm pretty sure Jim Root wasn't in the band until after the S/T dropped which is why he's not on the album cover.

 

He joined during the recording of the self-titled but only played guitar on Purity, so you could argue it either way.
