Damn, just got to Black Oak in the setlist. That was incredible.

Just saw them live in Brooklyn, it was a pretty good show. Most people seemed to really only know the older stuff. They played a good mix of everything though.

 

I'm gonna eat crow on this one - thought it was terrible when it came out (especially after how much I was bored by the last one), but I finally gave it a relisten today after doing a mobo run yesterday and this record is fantastic. Since it came out so late last year I might actually put it on my list for this year.

 

History will vindicate Safe and Moonbase. Both of them are better than Birdie as a whole, but Birdie’s top 4 songs are better than anything on the last two so people get confused.

 

Your cat is one of my favorites too

 

Birdie is an all-timer for me. Safe is still very good. I enjoyed Moonbase, but doesn’t touch the other two.

No sadly, i don't think i could go to the original date and I didn't get tix quick enough for the rescheduled one

 

Aw bummer. I also do not want to take the subway to Evanston but if I really enjoy the show tonight I’ll suck it up and go.
