Thanks for the rec, it’s been really bad lately. My skin is pretty sensitive, but since it’s on my back and not my face I think I’ll just go for it.

 

I have this and I've seen little to no difference, have been using it for months. I have really oily skin that is acne prone and not sensitive, for background.

I have combo skin (becoming more dry) with breakouts around my chin and forehead. I know the Luna oil sample I got worked pretty well for me with brightness and such, though. :/

 

I caved and got the Fenty lip paint and I’m in love. I can’t wait to wear it out this weekend, it’s so comfortable.

 

I HAVE A GIANT FLAKE PATCH ON MY FOREHEAD AND I FORGOT TO USE MOISTURIZER OMG

So I got the Becca Apres Ski eye palette and the Colourpop Golden State of Mind palette in the VIB sale and they both suck.

I'm going to Sephora today to return them and use my coupon.

idk what I want to get.

 

I bought some brushes and brush cleaner with my coupon. I think I've mentioned it before, but I keep an inventory of all my makeup and skincare to try and keep myself in check (LOLLLLL). I just updated it before the sale started and yeah....no way I could have justified anything else I ended up giving my SIL some of my makeup bc I am basically at hoarder level oops...

 

Oh I am too. I need to do that, I think. And brushes? That's a great idea!

I'm still debating on the Sunday Riley set, though... idk. It's hard for me to get into routines, so that's probably a waste.

 

Thinking about getting the UD heat palette with my VIB coupon. There's nothing else I want from there atm

 

My friend gave me a code for a starter box for fab fit fun. I just had to pay $2 for shipping. Well it’s been 3 weeks with no box so I log into my account. I see I typed my zip code in wrong. Why am I like thissss?????

 

Sephora was all out of heat. Last time I was there they had a bunch. The girl said they should get more this weekend and it's my weekend rotation off so hopefully it is in and still in time to use my $20 off

 

I returned the broken palette I got in the vib sale and man it was a hassle. I didn't have my receipt and it was an ordeal which was weird. I would've just exchanged it but they didn't have another in stock so I'll prob just use my coupon for something else

 

The latest box was pretty fucking legit. I got a half off code and decided to go for it. I'm glad I did. I'm sitting here with a giant sized Ahava hand lotion on my desk because of it. Like, fuck yeah man.

 

I decided to go to the Japanese store since I wasn't spending my money at Sephora today. I wanted to buy sheet masks but they only had one kind. Not sure if they got rid of the other ones they use to carry. I bought other things too.

 

So i am buying my mom's eyeshadow palette with my coupon and I was gonna buy a lil something for me to get it up to the $50. So something around $25. I was gonna get the mini mauve Huda palette cause I got it as a gift for someone else and I love it and kinda wanna keep it but it's sold out meh. I need another stila liquid liner but I wanted something that's a bit of a ~treat and not just replacing something. Whateeeevs I don't need to spend more money. Lol idk.

 

I got a 20% off anything including prestige at ulta coupon....I'm peeved cause like less than 2 weeks ago I dropped 50 bucks there and it would have been nice to have 20% off
anyway the coup is burning a hole in my pocket even though I have 0 literal dollars to spend on makeup lmao

 

I also received that Ulta coupon and I'm like ~$70 away from keeping my Platinum level next year. I don't really have anything I'm dying to buy, and not a lot of money, but I think I'll regret not keeping Platinum.

 

So I returned the palettes and walked out spending another $40. FML.

I'm watching what not to wear and Carmindy is dissing glitter on the eyelids and sis is gonna have to back off for real. Not on my watch sis. Not on my watch.


Also I ended up rebuying the smokey Huda palette for my mom since the other one arrived broken and I got the mauve one for myself. I originally bought the mauve one for my friend but my sister saw it and loved it so I'll prob give that one to her. I ended up getting a morphe palette for my friend.

 

I think I may have finally found a youtube channel with a "beauty guru" that I can relate to most... skin tone, facial features... it will be so much easier for makeup shades and tutorials.

 

I wish I could find a channel like that for me but I feel like I’d have to sift through literally thousands of vids

 

okay I am going to make an effort to write down everything I use when I do a makeup look and take pictures of it. Even when it's simple. There have been several times as I was looking through my phone pics that I was like "what the hell is on my lips here???? since when do I have a lipstick that looks like that??" etc. or I want to recreate a look but can't remember at all what I used.

 

I use to do that, or I'd give up because I couldn't find anything to what I was looking for, It would usually be hauls but never actually on the person nor shade given at times
