Oh man that was the story of my life before going on the pill. I have endometriosis so I never knew when mine would be or how long it would stick around for. (I knew something was wrong when mine lasted for 3 months straight....but the doctor still didn't take me seriously after that and it took years to get diagnosed) That kinda invention woulda been great for me hah!

 

Oof. Endometriosis is no joke. It's only recently that Dr's started taking it seriously, right? I hate that for you bc I hear it's debilitating it gets so bad.

 

Yeah, I just finally found a good doctor last year. I'm very, very lucky because basically all the issues I have because of it were taken care of just by going on birth control and I know a lot of people aren't that lucky. I missed a shit load of school because of it and not being taken seriously was very frustrating. A great doctor really makes a world of difference!

And I just realized I came in this thread to ask a question and then never asked it lol! Does anyone know of any like blackened purple lipsticks/liquid lipsticks that apply good and wear evenly throughout the day? I've tried some and all of them apply like shit and are really patchy and I'm sick of wasting my money on them! (I remember trying Va Va Violet by Revlon, Cyber by MAC, Chianti by Stila which was the best out of the bunch but still kinda patchy)

 

I only know by where I am in my birth control but before I got on that it was so unpredictable and lasted forever. I was constantly paranoid I had started it lol it was awful.

 

I have yet to find a good liquid in that shade tbh! I have Copenhagen by nyx and the patchiness isn't too bad but more than i like so I opt for a regular lipstick in a similar shade instead. It's annoying! I do have regular lipsticks in dark blackish plums that work well tho. I have a few from wet n wild and theyre never patchy. Good luck!

I got a deluxe sample of boscia's exfoliating peel gel and omg. I have oily skin but I figured I still had dead gross skin layered on and I've been using retin-a so my skin is a bit drier so I thought I'd try it, and the dead skin literally like balls off your face!! It's gross but awesome. My skin felt so smooth afterwards. I didn't have any dry patches so idk how it works on those but I'm happy with it!

 

Now that I know what a hard part is..I had one after laying on the same side of my head all day with a weird "ponytail" going on. I laughed.

 

I hate skin. I got up to brush my teeth and my glasses werent on but I swear my skin seemed clear and I remarked on it and laid back down. Got back up a few hours later and now there are two big pimples on my cheek. Is this my punishment for laying back down instead of being productive???

I read several pages back..I had explained to my husband this before...I wear my makeup FOR me. I like taking the extra time and using all that fun stuff.

I am looking for a rec for a decent chapstick. Dry lips NONSTOP. I don't wear any lip products because they're always so dry. I think its because being on dialysis, I get dry so easy.

 

I got some today! I'm excited to try it out.

I successfully went into Sephora and didn't buy anything!

I've lived in the deep south for ten years and I still have no idea how to deal with my already frizzy hair during the ridiculously humid summer. It's driving me crazy.

 

It's been nearly a week since I started using that peel gel and I'm so impressed. My skin looks so much brighter and clearer. My pores usually look big and clogged but it looks like somebody airbrushed my pores out lol and my skin looks less shiny and oily without makeup on I'm so excited. Ridic how something so small like that could make such a difference!

 

Finally got off the Sephora PLAY! wait list and I'm so excited to try it out!!

Do any of you currently or used to get it?

 

try nuxe reve de miel. it's a bit more expensive than a regular lip balm but you only need a tiny bit cos its quite heavy duty stuff.

i fell asleep outside with sunglasses on and i got burned to a crisp except around my eyes are pale as hell. i look so funny and im not sure how to go about fixing it....foundation somehow looks even worse

 

I've been wanting to dye my hair for months and I finally get to on Sunday yay! I kinda wanna try red but I'm worried it will look weird because I wear red glasses. Might just go back to purple since I have it on hand already.

 

i literally just dyed my hair red/strawberry blonde out of boredom. i was blonde before and i like red but i hate paying for it at salon cause it washes out quickly. its fun to do and then let wash out after like 1.5 months. i had rose gold hair last summer and i would like to bring it back

 

I'm afraid it won't really show up on me since I have medium-dark brown hair but I'm terrified of bleaching it. I only got to play around with the purple one time and then I had to stop dying it because I'm in a wedding. The wedding is Saturday, so Sunday I'm going all out lol

 

yeah i have blonde hair so wasn't a big commitment for me. The rose gold was good cause it was subtle and seemed to go unnoticed to some until they would suddenly after a while be like "wait, is your hair have pink in it?" i love changing my hair. i've been better about not dying it so much lately but i used to change my hair like it was my underwear. i have had it all really. red, blonde, black, brown, pink, white, etc etc

 

Bought this. Drove a little way to this Korean beauty store for it. Curious to see how much dirt it gets off my face. Wasn't exactly cheap. The only cleanser that gets deep down is this Filipino one from the Asian market in town. The nice lady even gave me moisturizer samples.

 

I wash my face everyday whether I have makeup on or not. I have a full face of makeup on and I'm too tired to wash it off! It's prob been 10 years since I've skipped a day.

 

I love dark lip color. Went to target today and found some awesome dark colors I've never seen before.

Bought maybelline might night blue, NYX Copenhgen and NXY sway (more like a lavender). Saw like 4 other colors that I want to buy!!
