I use it when applying eyeshadow and especially liquid liner, and then plucking my eyebrows. And also lipstick. So basically just for really close up and accurate makeup application. I try not to look at my skin while magnified lol. It shows all the lil blackheads and clogged pores I can't normally see and I prefer to live in ignorant bliss!!

 

I bought Rapture as well! I'm kind of glad UD are redoing the shape of the lipsticks because the Revolution ones are annoying to apply. Selling 100 shades kind of seems like overkill though.

 

I regret buying the UD sheer liar lipstick. Pretty sure I have at least 2 dupes, but it hasn't shipped yet so idk if it's exact. I usually make sure I don't have a dupe before I buy something. I have lots of lipsticks that are similar but I can tell the difference and that's all that matters. I hate having exact dupes.

 

How Nail Polish Is Made

 

I've been selling a bunch of makeup I don't use on Poshmark and it's nuts. I've made $100 in a week.

 

For all of you who have Instagram, what are some beauty accounts that y'all follow?

 

I'd like to pick up wearing nail polish again, but I'm so used to having polish-free toes and clean hands that polish feels weird.

 

I hate washing my hair. It never really used to, but now it seems to tangle easier and I spend a thousand years detangling the back underneath part. Can't wait until I chop a bunch off.

 

Anyone know of a good blackhead cleanser? That doesn't have a bunch of harsh chemicals

 

I like to pop my blackheads but I too would like to know.

 

I'm not sure if this is for blackheads jut it's awesome. It's for pores so I dunno.

 

I will never understand why people go to salons to get their nails done. I have perfected the art of the do-at-home glue on acrylics. They are like $5 and last 2 weeks-ish and you never have to get them filled, and can replace them if one accidentally breaks. Plus there are fun designs you can choose from to switch it up, or just stick with the pink and white. I also like how they are thin, not too thick like some nail places make the acrylics. People are constantly - and I mean constantly - asking me "where I get my nails done" and are absolutely amazed every time I tell them they're just the DIY kind. I have a couple pictures of them mixed in on my Instagram.

 

I got gel nails one time and they chipped within a week. That's money down the drain bc they're not cheap.

 

My whole life I never got warts and now I have 3 that wont die and I've been too insecure to get my nails done even tho I have a gift certificate. Usually I never get them done anyway.

 

Screw you, Philosophy. I swore I wasn't going to drop any more money but NOW you tempt me with 5 free shower gels with a $45 purchase.

 

2 (potentially 3) questions: do you have an issue with acne and if so have you noticed this helping and also do you use it twice a day or just once

 

I dont have much acne. It comes around when I'm getting my period but this stuff has really helped, imo. I use it once a day and it's so gentle. It doesn't dry my face out like most washes bc my skin is so dry already. It's also tingly which is my favorite thing about it lol

 

MUST..BE..STRONG..I want them all!

 

I got my UD lipsticks! I love them all! Sheer Liar wasn't as sheer as I expected so it wasn't a dupe like I thought so yay!

 

Jeffree Starr is getting rightfully dragged on twitter rn. Good to know he is still a sucky human, which I think ppl like to conveniently forget just cause he makes decent makeup

 

Flashback to the MySpace days. Wait, that guy actually went somewhere? He makes makeup? LOL

 

Yeah, he pretty much successfully rehabed his image. I suspect many of the people who buy his stuff were young when he was being all racist on myspace and doing his thing there. He now has a successful makeup line that is taken seriously and is pretty in demand. Which yeah it's good and he has some nice stuff, but since he's clearly still an ass I'm glad I've never bought his products and I def won't in the future.

I haven't gotten a hair cut in a year and a half and it's starting to drive me crazy. The thing is, I've moved to a new town since then and don't know who to trust with my hair here.
