Taking One For The Team is coming to vinyl! I think it's the first full length to be pressed. I want to order it online but I am thinking they might be selling it on this tour.

 

The Hollywood and NYC shows are sold out.

 

This starts Tuesday.

 

I'm pretty excited to see Hit the Lights. I think I've missed them the last two or three times they've been to Chicago.

 

Me and a friend are flying to Chicago for the show. We've been waiting to see Simple Plan for 13 years and tired of waiting. They never come to Colorado, and then they finally did earlier this year for some brief acoustic radio performances. Looking forward to finally seeing them. Going to hit up the Blackhawks game the night before. I go to Chicago a lot for work but he's never been, so it's going to be a fun weekend.

 

This started yesterday.

I was hoping to hear Nostalgic. I don't like Singing In the Rain.

 

I just want to hear Grow Up

 

Wonder if they will make changes for the Canadian dates. I'm probably more excited for Pvris than Simple Plan haha

 

Seems like a very somber encore

 

I can assure you, it was anything but.

People were losing their minds in the encore, just like they did for the rest of the show. Also, they played "Untitled" in a different key, presumably to try and sidestep the 'internet meme' status it's gained in recent years.

The only person who didn't seem to be having a great time was the guy I was standing next to, who told me he'd just broken up with his girlfriend, was fairly drunk, and the chorus to "Perfect World" seemed to hit him pretty hard.

Hit the Lights setlist?

 

Not really familiar with their stuff, but it seemed pretty similar to the other setlists documented on setlist.fm, if in a different order.

Got to see them play "Stay Out," which is all I really cared about.

Hopefully there are still copies left by the time the tour comes to Chicago. I would have normally bought it online weeks ago but I was hoping I could pick it up at the show.

 

Just saw that they have been playing What's New Scooby Doo.

 

They swapped out Untitled for This Song Saved My Life.

Not closing with Body Bag is weird but it's about what I'd expect, 309 is a nice surprise!
