This one moves pretty slow. ~1 round/24+ hours haha

 

I lied about the 24 hours haha. I think it's ok to call this one at 9-2 in favor of Aquamarine! A worthy champion for sure, though not what I would have expected at the start and I certainly expected Afterglow to fare a little better.

I Am Alive in Everything I Touch will be up momentarily.

So bummed that In the Dark is likely gonna get ran by Late on 6th, it's my favorite on the album haha.

 

I have to go with the End, If only for the selfish reason that I asked Shane the tuning on Formspring (lol), tabbed out the entire song by ear and the one fan-shot El Mocambo vid, and then recorded a full band cover of it lol

 

That's awesome haha. I think the biggest drop in quality is after 4 or 5. I mean, WBIEF is the only one I had to relisten to know what it was so they're all great, but that's where I'd cut it off. I think the chorus of OLD is bliss.

This is an album I surprisingly haven't listens to that much, but there are some songs that have stuck with me. I really like Buried at Sea, but Toronto is just a superior song imo. I had to listen to Je me just to remember what it was, but once I heard that lead in the chorus I knew, haha.

Going to give this album a listen this morning. I think I've only listened to it maybe once or twice and that was a couple years ago!

 

Call It Karma is easily my favourite Silverstein song, haha. Toronto would be my second favourite closer too.

The second matchup was really easy for me because Je Me Souviens is probably my favorite song on the album.

The fourth matchup was also very easy since Face Of The Earth was up against the intro track.

For my other two picks (Buried At Sea, In The Dark) I tend to favor the louder, more aggressive Silverstein songs. I'm willing to admit that the songs I voted against are probably "better" songs, but I enjoy the ones I picked more ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
