Festival was a blast but it was really hot out. Hopefully they move it to March/April if there is a next one

It’s amazing that this festival happened, I follow quite a few bands that played, but I did not see a single word about this festival on social media at ALL.

Sold out instantly and since When We Were Young went solid last year, there wasn't 6 months of "this is gonna be Fyre Fest 2.0" conspiracies

wonder if that has anything at all to do with the fact that the entire grounds was a total DEAD ZONE for connectivity from like noon until midnight.

    Same with WWWY...

I know people that attended and I didn’t see any posts from them until the following day, or even Monday

I mean, I attended and could not post anything from the grounds after like 11:15 AM and then was too dead tired afterward to do it until the next afternoon ... lol

Seems a bit thin compared to last year but should still be a good time. Never thought nu metal/butt rock would be so celebrated in 2023.

Having Danny Elfman, Primus, and A Perfect Circle up toward the top is going to be a huge draw for a very specific type of person. Haha.

I keep going back and forth as to whether its just as good... Or weaker. It leans a bit less into nostalgia for a specific era and the two headliners are pretty run of the mill (and I swear, at least 50% of this line-up plays at least one DWP festival per year). But if they can rely on depth and crossover? I dunno. I think it'll still do really well.

I’m also disappointed the tweet that said RTJ would be on the lineup ended up being false. Some current and older hip hop would be a solid addition to the lineup

This festival does have a big advantage that there’s only one other big rock festival in the west and Vegas is much more of a tourist destination than Sacramento where Aftershock is. Even if those bands play all of the red state rock festivals, the west coast is definitely an untapped market. They got pretty much every big up and coming band in the metal/hard rock scene. This is definitely geared towards a younger demographic than last year.

It'll be interesting to see what type of set APC plays, imagine it'll be the most subdued set of the day.

Korn/Deftones/Incubus played the first one in May, and I imagine the festival doesn't want to repeat THAT many acts in its second year ... but yeah...

I mean they gotta have Limp Bizkit on lock for 2025, right? Chocolate Starfish album play 25-year anniversary, anyone?

This is okay, some good and some not so good.

Who started the trend of adding composers to festival lineups and like why? No interest whatsoever in seeing Hans Zimmer or Danny Elfman at a festival. It doesn't even appeal to me in an oddball fun kind of why. Just bizarre and a waste of a line up spot.

Of course feel to disagree en masse.
