Korn vs placebo and spiritbox vs turnstile is killing me lol

Yeah I’m not going, but there are a few conflicts that would suck for me. Deftones and Ministry playing the same time sucks, but I’d choose Deftones. Korn/Placebo and Chevelle/Melvins both suck too

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

Yeah, no devastating conflicts, just minor annoyances. Turnstile vs. Spiritbox and Incubus vs. 100 Gecs in particular sucks.

Wow looking at the set times makes me realize how much fun I would have had at this. A surprising amount of conflicts haha. Like no band I'm dying to see outside system but a bunch of bands id love to see once

I can't imagine the amount of JNCO pants and silver ball necklaces that will be there haha. If Limp Bizkit had been on this, I probably would have gotten a ticket.

    This would be my schedule:

    Scowl 11:35
    Alien Ant Farm 11:50
    POD 12:25
    Flyleaf 1:35
    Papa Roach 2:10
    Chevelle 3:55
    Turnstile 4:30
    Filter 4:45
    Incubus 6:00
    Hoobastank 7:10
    Deftones 7:20
    Korn 8:40
    System of a Down 10:00

The ones that overlap would be totally fine with me. I'd watch a few songs and then mosey to see the other band for a few songs.

Some people already mentioned brutal conflicts, but Cold vs. Alien Ant Farm hurts me.

I know it’s dumb but Cold turned down Ozzfest 2001 cause they didn’t want to wake up early everyday and play in the hot sun early in the day. They are opening this fest in Vegas, it’s just a weird thing for me to notice.

Those guys have made some questionable business decisions. That one, for example. Also when they opened for Weezer

Cold have been touring the country for like the past 5 years. AAF is much more rare to come by.

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

Rivers co-wrote their biggest hit and then got an opening gig for his band. Seems pretty rad to me!

I think what he means is accepting the tour offer to open that tour when they arguably had a decent amount of momentum and could have opened for a band more within their genre, it did them no favors and kinda embarrassed them a bit getting booed off the stage every night.

it was for 13 ways to bleed on stage which was more of that goth spooky kid thing. Year of the spider they got more accessible.

Yeah this is what I was talking about. I think they ended up dropping from that tour too

Oh wow! Thanks for the history lesson. That is a wild choice, in retrospect.

Yea I don’t know how many shows they lasted, but they got booed off stage multiple times, things thrown, beer thrown, heckling. There is a story out there of a particular crowd hearing the stories from previous that we’re ready for them and really pelted Cold like during the first song, and they were done by like 7:10 of a 7pm start. Rivers came out and berated the crowd and said he was ashamed etc etc.

Hey, realize this is an off chance but if anyone's looking for a ticket, I'm selling mine. Willing to part for just above face value.

I think they turned it down to get a support slot for Staind who were huge in 2001

Do the spiral and sick stages have one of those rotating stages that turns? Otherwise those are short set times.
