holy shit!

 

Started and finished season 1 over the last 4 days. Wow I am in love with this show. My heart was racing that entire finale.

I cant believe ya'll been waiting 3 years for season two. That's so brutal! I'm getting antsy waiting 3 months.

Can’t wait for this show to fuck me up again. Definitely plan to rewatch some of season one beforehand.

 

I loved season 1 and I think Adam Scott was robbed of an Emmy as that ending episode must have been so hard to act and he crushed it (no spoilers - iykyk).

I am a little worried about season 2. With all the behind the scenes drama stories, and the fact that I feel it's going to be a show that's going to tease and tease with mysteries and offer very little answers, I'm excited but hesitant. I like payoff, but with long waits between seasons and even uncertainty of renewal, payoffs sooner rather than later please!

I'd love to be wrong but this just seems like the type of show that is asking more questions than it has answers for, but lets find out.

 

As a guy who thinks the Leftovers is the best show of the past 15 years, i don’t mind questions that have no answers so long as there’s a coherent message and the characters are well made. But i do agree that I’ve got some concerns about the drama in the background of the show.

 

What was the background drama? I don’t remember.

 

I’m excited for whatever they give us. The quality is always more important for me than narrative closure.

 

The showrunners were butting heads and one almost left the show.
