I'm loving the new song. Pre-ordered the vinyl and cd!

Yes! Love the guitar throughout the song. Feel like this record will be more like The Fire after hearing this

 

Yeah, the guitar in this sounds awesome. Buddy's vocals sound great as well. I'm really liking the lyrical content.

 

Can’t get behind the screaming though. It doesn’t sound right nor does it seem to fit within the song.

 

Total regression. Even their earlier stuff like Still Searching had much more bite than this. I’ll check out the record but I highly doubt it’ll be my cup of tea.

 

I'm shocked how much I like this song. Way better than I was expecting after hearing the Speak The Truth stuff. This is awesome.

 

love everything but the chorus which is alright.

for what its worth, still searching and the fire are my top 2

 

The screaming is the only part that saved it for me, without it I think it'd sound bland. I think I just am so used to heavy SF from the last few years that I just come to expect it haha.

 

I get the Still Searching feel but don't see (or hear) The Fire at all.

 

to me this sounds similar to speak the truth.

 

Buddy was really into sounding like 2002 this year.

 

The show I'd be at would be the first show on the tour. Their first show probably since April. How rusty do you think that'll be? Lol

I'm with you that heavy SF is the best but don't discredit the rest of the band's discography lol. Each album has amazing songs. I'd place Lungs Like Gallows and Sick or Sane up there with the Renacer and Fire stuff.

 

Also super stoked for Bayonet!

 

Is Bayonet on Spotify? I see a few bands with that name.

 

I recently listened to their other records and it just didn’t do it for me like it used to. I don’t know why. Even LINAWR was kind of meh to me when I gave that a spin. The only record I can see myself playing, still, a decade from now is Renacer.

 

They're not, unfortunately. I assume any new stuff they release though will be.
