Wolves At The Door (I think Family Tradition is fine and it has some strong lyrics, but I enjoy Wolves At The Door more)

Blackout (One of my favorite tracks on the album - I love that final minute and a half)

Four Years (Kinda funny that these two are matched up against each other - this was a tough one for me, but I give this the slight edge)

Fireworks At Dawn (I think that this is a great way to start the album, also I think that Garden State is pretty forgettable)

Yeah, the Four Years bridge is great. The "When she came home I made her sit
My feet tap out a rhythm as I draw breath in" part is fantastic.

Yellow Angels has some great lyrics too though:

As the car begins to roll
I smile as I lose control
This weightlessness is such a gift
'Cause gravity has lost its hold
I see the sky and then the ground
Kaleidoscope of light and sound
Catching flashes of my life
Just then the house lights all went out

I love how he can paint a picture with lyrics.

I agree with Fireworks, but Garden state wasn't a single! It should have been though, song is so good

 

I am surprised but love the Fireworks at Dawn votes. I thought I'd be the only crazy one voting for it. To me the lyrics are so positive and always put me in a good mood.

Had to go back & jam the songs again bc this bracket was a close one for sure.

Wolves At The Door- This one is a no brainer for me, just a killer song & has so much more energy than Family Tradition

Blackout- This Closer is probably my 3rd favorite overall out of all of their closers, such a jam

Yellow Angels- This was probably the hardest for me, both are great songs, but just the overall flow of Yellow Angels is just too good for me

Fireworks At Dawn- Garden State is a solid song, but im a sucker for a great opening track & this one is probably one of my all time favorites

What is your guys’ counting methodology

 

I type out the post on the computer and go through all of the votes on my phone, making sure that I get them all counted correctly

 

Interesting, I go down the line and quote them all, deleting the quote as I tally

 

That’s a good idea too.
