Aw man it's all good, just giving you a hard time because we are usually in sync of liking the more heavier/metal songs from bands that are tied into the emo/pop punk scene thing (whatever you want to call it).

That second matchup is the only one I see changing really, and I hope it does cause I love Lungs Like Gallows

There has never been a more crazy upset in a bracket known to man than Lungs Like Gallows losing the in first round.

 

Blackout is possibly my favorite song on the album, so I'm not shocked

 

I said on my vote that it was tougher for me than it should have been to pick Lungs, because I love Black Out. That intro riff is so good and that ending is great.

But........ I can't see hearing those riffs in the intro and before the 2nd verse of Lungs and voting anything but. Also that solo

This is just teaching me to expect the unexpected going forward with you SF fans.

 

Listening to Lungs Like Gallows now. Y'all are mad, this song is so good.

 

After what happened in SS and most of the anberlin brackets, I wouldn’t be surprised if Rum somehow made an entrance and won this bracket

 

I can only think that 9 people voted blindly without a recent listen or got the titles mixed up.

 

Lungs Like Gallows is a fantastic song, but the lyrics to Blackout are fantastic and extremely relatable to anyone who has gone through a bad breakup

That's what I meant about the the ending being so great, the lyrics are so tragic and powerful I agree.

But if we are talking about lyrics....

So good.

side note: always made me crazy that "fans" confused Four Years and Yellow Angels because of the similar outros

 

I never knew anyone ever mixed up the songs lol. I feel like this is a concept album about a break up and I like the way they reuse those lyrics. Kind of like The Used with Kissing You Goodbye and Men are all the Same.

 

Is this song going to be included anywhere, like a B-side/bonus tracks/wild card round? It came off a split EP with Man Overboard is a pretty good hardcore track
