It's completely DIY and has been laregely recorded in our singers' mums house.

The song/video below is my solo debut and the lead single for an full-length that'll be dropping in early 2020. Really stoked on it. It's the one-man-band thing, so it's riffy, mathy, emo-pop-leaning stuff where I got to play all the guitars, drums, etc. Hope y'all dig it! Here's something I wrote about the video:

It's easy to view college as a means to a career, jobs as a means to money, money as a means to our passions, and roads as a means to other roads. But we mustn't view people that way -- people are not projects or obstacles, they are an "end" in and of themselves.

My new song "Matter" was written about the married couples around me, who I witnessed laying down their lives for their spouses and loving them well, even when it meant compromising (if not sacrificing altogether) their individual dreams and aspirations.

I spent a long time brainstorming low-budget music video ideas; what we ended up filming is more of a guitar-play-through than a "music video" proper, but in the background of my playing, you'll see a married couple doing exactly what this song is about: doing life together, choosing to be together rather than "accomplishing" something. Because when all is said is done, what's more valuable than the relationships we've fostered along the way?
