The Lil Jon one on that page is inspired.

It's Barstool and dripping in unfunny bro-sarcasm.

Obviously, a stupid list. The masturbation episode and the fake orgasm episodes are among the top.n

The episode where Kramer performed stand up at The Laugh Factory is obviously the best one. The second best is when George attempted to sexually assault Julia Roberts in a Beverly Hills hotel but was thwarted by Richard Gere.

(Does that make me qualify to write for Barstool Sports?)

about to finish my rewatch and I honestly think seasons 8 and 9 are way better than they're given credit for

100% agreed, I think compared to the sheer amount of absurd sitcom-type show plots since 2000ish, later seasons of Seinfeld never felt "too unbelievable" or w.e the criticisms have been lol to me anyway

yeah, I guess compared to earlier seasons its a lot more outlandish, but because I'm so used to everything that came after, it isn't that crazy haha

They are unwatchable. The show acted as if it forgot what made the characters so endearing.

Unwatchable seems a bit dramatic haha. Both have great episodes. Eight more than nine but still.

Festivus, the Ziggy Cartoon, the Van Buren boys. A ton of great ones in the later seasons!

Yeah I can understand feeling like the quality dropped, but unwatchable?

It wasn't a planned finale, but the end of season 7 works just fine as the end of the show. Their true depravity is shown, feigning a little bid of sadness for Susan before giving up and going back to normal.

I don't really think any of the characters' actions post-s7 are huge departures either, although I do think jerry got a bit less subtle

The things people complain about in S8 and S9 are also present in most of the other seasons too.

I think there’s a significant difference in the dialogue of seasons 8/9 compared to the rest of the show.
I think the element of Larry’s writing I’m terms of dialogue is apparent.

It’s funny because seasons 8 and 9 are criticized the way they are, yet they contain a handful of their most popular episodes.
