Is a real boy is their only great record. In defense could be trimmed to a solid single disc album. Then poop afterwards.

Self titled is a top 5, if not like, top 3 scene album for me

IARB is their only great record. In Defense could be trimmed to a mostly-ok single disc album. You could take the best half of self titled and half of Anarchy to make a pretty good album. Hebrews is interesting but mostly not good, IDTII is just bad top to bottom, Oliver is melodically a good return to form but he's too far gone lyrically. Maxim Mental has interesting ideas that are covered by dumb lyrics and bad production

Self titled is where I started listening lol I was pretty late. IARB and In Defense are definitely my favorites, but Self Titled and Hebrews aren't far behind. Anarchy and Oliver Appropriate are both really good to me too, even though I at least understand why people have issues with them. IDTII is the only one that I wouldn't call good, but I still am kinder to it than most and I think 17 and Bret Easton are both great songs.

I meant single disc album for in defense not song. I am shocked at how many people are saying self titled is the best.

Self titled is where I jump off. It’s got a few bangers, but pretty inconsistent. After that, the crap rains down.

I was a huge fan of them through s/t. Even though I’m not a fan of property/birthday young dumb run. But I absolutely hated Anarchy. Basically all of it. Everything after that got worse and worse for me.

Property is the weak point. I enjoy it more than IARBA but I unferstand people thinking it's better

Minus Property, album is perfect imo

This is doing a really great job of making me want to listen to Self Titled.

Used to think everything up to S/T was good-to-great and Anarchy being the start of my waning interest. But I revisited the s/t not too long ago and it made me reconsider how I ever liked it. The lyrics throughout are downright terrible and especially godawful in Hate Everyone, Crush'd, and Property. Cringeworthy is the word. I think I agree that IARB has stood the test of time as their only good album and some stuff on IDOTG is decent as well. Even some stuff pre-IARB isn't bad. Unfortunately, most of this band's stuff aged poorly.

Self titled is super inconsistent, has some incredible stuff though. IARB is still a classic, In Defense could be as good if it was trimmed down. Hebrews is probably my second favourite as a whole. I really liked Oliver too. Anarchy is pretty good but has a bunch of really weak stuff and none of it really wows me. IDTII is just horrible.

    Time for heresy!

    IDTII > IARB > Hebrews > ST > IDOAG > Anarchy > OA
