I reallyyy hope this is a coheadliner where say anything is really the headliner. I need more than the 12 songs I got on the bayside tour.

 

Finally!

 

I am equally scared and excited. I could really use a new SA album that I enjoy.

 

Say Anything albums always come at the right times for me. I'm sure I'll like it, I liked the previous albums although the public opinion is divided. Max still has a strong creative side and looking at his recent Twitter posts it seems he knows he has to show that more .

 

Seems there is a lot more than just SA coming.

New Painful Splits and Two Tongues. My guess.

Kinda wish he would focus everything on SA but with all his projects, Marvel, Song Shop, i'm amazed he is still going.

 

Two Tongues would surprise me at this point with how quiet Chris/STD has been music-wise

 

Yea I can’t imagine two tongues happens before new STD at this point, or at least some activity in that camp. Painful Splits makes sense because we know there’s the tour with Senses Fail and those always correspond with a tour. The other one is probably something new though.

I'm really thinking this week. Not sure it will be today though. Probably like Wednesday I would think.

very hesitant about getting excited for anything new from SA, last several releases were so polarizing

 

I Don't Think It Is is a very bad album, but I am excited for whatever new Max has been doing

 

Hebrews and IDTII are my favorite SA albums.

 

Definitely liked Hebrews more than anyone else I know, and liked IDTII the first time I listened to it and liked it as an idea, but yeeeeeah it and TT2 were not good

 

I personally enjoyed TT2 but then again I am a Conley apologist.

 

Hebrews was so so so so bad
IDTII had some good songs but they're hidden in the awful production
I really hope the new one is great

honestly, IARB is the only album by them that i loved. the others are all way lower down the totem pole. IARB isn't even thaaaaat great, in retrospect.

 

Love all Say Anything music. Anarchy, My Dear is my least favorite but still a lot of fun. I will admit IDTII didn't have a ton of staying power for me, but I think it was fun and has some fantastic songs. Also this is like the 10th time we've had this conversation in the thread (but understandable cus what else are we going to talk about while we wait).

 

Hebrews ruled. IDTII was terrible
