29 is SO good. The entire album is great. A concept album about the history of the band SHOULDNT work but it DOES!

29 is cool in certain parts... but that’s literally it.

are the parts you are referring to the moments that occur between 0:00 and 21:30? I agree.

I actually don’t like the the opening section lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Pretty much the 4 minute mark till the 15 minute mark are solid to me. The rest is just alright but nothing exciting.

The trilogy is my favorite work from Chris by far.

  9. 9 is a good album and 29 is basically a super fucking cool bonus EP

Side note from everyone disagreeing with me: I forgot how awesome Two Tongues “If I Could Make You Do Things” is. Love that song. It’s a shame the second album has that lousy muffled production to it.

I love that first two tongues record sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much and have maybe made it through the second one once...

Two Tongues Two has some solid songs and a lot of really good parts of okay songs, but the production really makes me not wanna go back to it.

...which is weird, because I actually really enjoy I Don’t Think It Is by Say Anything. That album has similar lofi production, but it doesn’t bother me there. I’m hoping to hear Max play some of those songs on his solo tour this Fall.

Same. I love IDTII a lot and the production doesn’t really hold those songs back in my opinion. Sometimes (hot take incoming) it even enhances them! That cannot be said for the second TT record at all lol

why does the first song on Two Tongues Two sound like Bawitdaba??

also has the worst drums I have probably ever heard.

edit: this is the worst thing either band has done.

I bought way too much vinyl this month to justify picking this up. Will unfortunately be passing :tear:
