That argument is equivalent to "Trump won, deal with it"

What? OK, this is a thread on a music discussion forum about the band Saves the Day wherein fans of the band Saves the Day are discussing the quality of their live performances. Some of the people here have attended said shows and are confounded/curious about the nature of them. To conflate this with a political discussion is a bit of a stretch. I'm just saying if you don't want to see people discuss Chris Conley's live antics, nobody's forcing you to seek out discussions of that. And yes, it is much easier to not do this than to move out of America or whatever false equivalence mught be drawn from that.

"it comes with the territory" means "deal with it." Discussing antics is not a problem, it's when people start diagnosing , assuming he is on drugs that becomes the problem.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Speculating on someone's personal life is super shitty. This same shit happened with Max Bemis and it got extremely uncomfortable. It's not our place to speculate on what's going on with him

But there's also a difference between just assuming things in a gossip kind of way, and having genuine concern about the well being of someone who means a lot to people, even if we/they don't know him. It's not really an assumption when you witnessed the behavior first hand. But I get where you guys are coming from and ultimately even if we knew with 100% fact what was going on, we wouldn't really be able to do anything from this forum, so it's probably better to move on and discuss how excited we are for the new album they said they'd be recording this fall!

Agree 100%. Let's hope they actually record this thing soon and hopefully it's weird in the best way possible :)

I do agree, mattfreaksmeout. I just understand how and why fans might speculate in a concerned way rather than a mean-spirited one. I see where you're coming from.

I'm really looking forward to the new album. I've been listening to them a lot the past few weeks and my respect for their overall catalogue has really increased.

Telling you guys, the longer Saves goes without updates the more I start to worry. Even seeing Arun's insta posts and how he's doing other non-STD things kinda kills me. Nothing in recent times about the next album. N when was the last Saves tour anyway? They've only been doing sporadic shows lately.

Well they did say at that Chicago show they'd be going to record a new album this fall.

Darn, I thought they'd be in the studio by now, they had announced that at the Chicago show. Lately I've been concerned.

It’s about to be 5 years right?

I’m fine as long as it’s a return to form. I hated the S/T aside from a few songs.

S/T was probably my favorite album as whole by them since In Reverie.. Sound the Alarm had some really good songs, Under The Boards was pretty boring, Daybreak has 2-3 songs that I really liked.

  23. I also think UTB and Daybreak are mostly bad. Self titled rules though

All of the their albums are varying levels of good. None are bad.
