Okay episode overall. Some really funny stuff but too much mediocrity

Can't wait for Kumail

 

If only every sketch was on par with the OJ one

 

Yeah, the OJ one was clearly the strongest.

 

I enjoyed this episode more than the premiere. None of the sketches were great, but none were flat out duds, which the Gosling ep had 2 or 3 of.

laughed way too hard at Where's Kanye?

Haha. Thought that might have been one of the skits where the company pays for advertising. But they did take it pretty far, probably more than a company would be cool with

 

OJ skit was the only bit I enjoyed on the whole episode

 

lmao I like that sketch even more now.

Pretty meh episode. OJ was the only really funny bit apart from Safelite, though I did like the dumb Chosen One pre-recorded one, and the Weekend Update, particularly Pete's bit. Kind of wish they'd never do Ruth Bader Ginsburg ever again ever though.

 

Probably unpopular opinion but I'm getting tired of Kate characters on Weekend Update in general. They're almost all basically the same character and it's not really that funny

 

Was just thinking about this yesterday. Her Ginsburg isn't that different from her Bieber.

 

I'm just tired of Kate in general.

 

I suspect this may be Kate's last season and then she'll go on to surprise us all with her range once she isn't limited to a late night variety program

 

Weird. I laugh at pretty much everything Kate does. Reminds me of Will Ferrell in that way.

Episode felt overlong and Gal Gadot broke every skit. Usually I laugh when that happens but it was distracting how bad she was.

 

She still has two more seasons on her contract after this

 

How did this get cut?

 

That was so good, no reason that should've been cut! First little bit I kinda thought it might be taking too much influence from stuff like Lazy Sunday, but that really took a turn lol

 

They’re such good rappers

 

Honestly reminds me too much of the Fresh Prince theme.

 

As much as I love them on the show and am super glad they're there, I still think Good Neighbor would be better off somewhere else. More of their sketches have been cut than ones that have made the show

 

I still can't believe Kumail is hosting

I'm so glad they gave him so much time. Great monologue

 

Of course Kumail killed it
