I feel like Belushi bringing Fear as a musical guest scared Lorne away from booking hardcore and hardcore-adjacent bands forever.

Fear performed during that period where Lorne wasn’t involved in the show. And off top of my head AFI and Rage Against the Machine have played (even though the Rage set was considered controversial)

I'm not exactly excited for a full episode of Kate this soon after her leaving lol but Driver always kills it on this show

Rodrigo and Eilish back to back is killer musical booking for them

Maybe Blink or Green Day with new albums would fit?

Had no idea AFI played SNL.

Other than voicing BW3 commercials, what the hell has Beck Bennett been up to?

Yea it was when December Underground came out and from my memory of the episode, it was a terrible performance due in part because of technical audio issues.

That’s true and I was being a little facetious. But to be fair, Rage and System both got their asses banned too. AFI might be the exception to not get in trouble. But typically, SNL has avoided metal, pop-punk and hard rock.

Short but fun monologue. Emma deserves this, she's so good on this show

simple and got the job done, like that a five timer monologue didn’t make a huge deal of things we’ve seen before
