Really wanna know the thought process behind bringing Debbie Downer back again, considering it was originally a bad sketch that was saved by every corpsing.

Also, it’s insane Kenan was a cast member in that sketch when it first aired.

 

I think that disregarding any personal opinions on it, it’s for sure one of the most well known recurring sketches from SNL in that era. Between so much shit going on right now and the show loving to bank on past success, makes sense to bring it back now

 

Yeah I think people tend to remember it fondly because of the breaking the first (I think?) time they did it but it's never been a great sketch lol

 

and Amy Adams!! Remember she played Katy!

 

Watching the episode this morning, is The Weeknd’s appearance a reference to Uncut Gems?

 

Deangelo and Todd Packer were on SNL too

 

Do y'all ever read the episode recaps on Vulture? They rank the sketches from best to worst and it honestly hurts my brain to look at every week because I vehemently disagree with them almost every time.
