If there was ever a perfect example of the problems with SNL’s current writing staff it’s this sketch. Has all the hallmarks: over-explaining the premise, normal people commenting on how weird the weird people are, etc.

 

I should not have chuckled at Kate as Macauley Culkin

 

The premise of this was good, but the execution not so much

 

Sinatra Impersonator had a really funny premise until they spent almost the entire sketch just explaining the premise. Very much appreciated Kit's commitment though

 

There is no way Pete didn’t write at least some of this lol

 

I love this sketch

 

I’ve got whiplash from the difference in quality between that last sketch and this one

 

Haha that was fun

 

Yeah the video game one was great

 

First one I loved tonight

 

I understand, you're a busy man.

 

This episode has been good and I don’t even get all the GoT’s references.

 

Nephew Pageant and Sinatra Impersonator were both misses for me. Liked the monologue and loved the video game, thought the cold open was fine.

 

God I love Sara

 

The first two sketches felt like post-WU sketches, so I'm very curious to see what happens later haha

 

Nephew pageant just missed the best joke they could have made. Have Aunt Dany there talking about how much she loves her nephew and have it be all normal but have her making a bunch of innuendos and etc.

IRoNY joke was pretty good

 

I can't tell if Alex is wearing a wig or not

 

Holy shit I laughed so hard at one Dr. Robotnik and nobody in the studio got it

 

Like this character a lot
