Haven't seen Darkest Hour, Dunkirk, Phantom Thread, The Post, or Three Billboards

 

it's funny too because all of the premises of these movies interest me

I’m so annoyed with my job right now. We apparently have to stay late today now and possibly come in tomorrow. Nothing like finding that out with a little under two hours left in the work day.

Not to mention I’m supposed to be finishing packing today and tomorrow.

I hate last minute changes and I’m not handling this well right now.

 

I'd be mad too, do you get any incentive in terms of overtime, either way hella lame

 

Just bought a bought a ticket home for June 14th-18th for my friend's wedding. Also, very excited to see my sister who doubles as my best friend...turns out all of those days she’s gonna be in San Diego for a wedding lmao

Yeah, I'll get overtime thankfully. Normally I wouldn't mind, but finding out literally hours before I'm going to leave, and then on the weekend where I'm super busy each day is frustrating.

Yeah, it sucks. And it’s for someone she doesn’t even know, it’s like her boyfriend’s cousin or something lol. I’ll see her in March cause she’ll be in LA, but I miss hanging out with her in SF.

 

Packed up all my stuff in my car this morning. Wrote a long message to my roommate highlighting how his homophobic behavior has impacted me. I talked about his insults, mocking homosexuality and telling his son that if he was gay he'd be angry, sad, disappointed, etc.

His initial response was "I am so confused" followed by a few minutes later "O man I feel bad" followed by "We could of had this conversation in person" followed by "well actually two of my friends are gay!".

He is so incredibly out of touch holy shit.

 

Yeah that sucks. It sounds like he's just completely ignorant

 

Ahh yes, the classic "I can't be racist/homophobic/etc. I have black/gay friends!"

 

Ugh. Sorry you had to deal with that garbage. Glad you’re out of there
