having a dog in Troy would feel like animal cruelty, it's not a horrible city but there is a staggering lack of public friendly parks

ahaha great story one time our women's basketball team was playing in the big statewide playoffs so we were driving like 5 hours across the state to troy. my (no longer best) friend's driver side windshield wiper flew off as we were going 75 mph on the thruway...and it was precipitating. oh my god she was so pissed. man all of my favorite megan memories are when she was super pissed off, like when she got kicked in the head by a crowd surfer at warped 03 lololol

Yeah, I'm only doing positive reinforcement. When she starts to bite me, chew on things she shouldn't, or misbehaves in general, i'll clap at her and say "NO!" and she'll get put in her kennel for 1-2 minutes and then let back out. She's only 8 weeks old so right now it's just kind of laying the foundation of establishing connections in her brain that certain actions get certain results, whether it's a treat or her kennel. So, it's enforcing positive responses for getting a treat when she responds to her name or as soon as she goes potty, and teaching her she gets put in time out if she chews on something that isn't her toy or bites my hand too hard and she loses her roaming freedom of the living room or loses me as a playmate.

How does that CBD stuff work when you leave? Bear throws an absolute shit fit as soon as she loses sight of me, and it's even worse when I leave for work in the morning and afternoon. I can hear her barking all the way from across the street at my car and I feel bad for me neighbors that might be home having to hear her
