I sing along to all the pop songs that come on in stores

after all, that's what they want you to do

I caught myself singing along to "Glamorous Indie Rock N Roll" by the Killers in the grocery store the other day. I didn't even notice I was doing it until the second chorus.

Books I received were signed copies the 2 books in the DC Icons Series called Wonder Woman: Warbringer and Batman: Nightwalker.

I then bought a Sherlock Holmes esque logic puzzle type of book.

Wife also bought me a set of Magnetic Harry Potter book marks that are super cute and a GC for Xbox and PlayStation.

Hard to quantify.

For breakfast I had Kolaches and donuts.
Lunch: Starbucks drink
Dinner: Chinese buffet.

No cake yesterday, i'll be sure to make up for it today though.

well, I think I have a grasp on what he's saying but it might be a bit much for me to unpack whilst stoned and half-awake on a Sunday morning. but what I will say is that I think that song is a celebration of some of the better and purer ideals of the indie counterculture. it's like a tribute to indie music, basically.

I don't get that sense at all. lines like "the two of us flipping through a thrift store magazine" might make you think that a little bit but I think it comes from a genuine place? maybe I'm wrong. I like how I see it tho
