    I really like how this record is the sunnier, poppier companion to Dying Star, like the latter resembles the dead of night and the former the morning after.

    awesome list! I just realized like a week ago that Nation of Language was the guy from Static Jacks and I’m so happy to have his songwriting back.

    I love Nation of Language's debut so much. I've been saying to anyone who will listen that if you found that record in a bin and were told it was the greatest hits of a lost 80s new wave band, they'd 100% believe you. Should check out Static Jacks.
