I go back and forth, but these days, I tend to prefer the Stones.

 

If Aeroplane were up against Abbey Road, choosing the Beatles would be a much easier decision. Still went with Rubber Soul here, but this was a close one for me.

Love Aeroplane, Rubber Soul is the Beatles record I return to the least for some reason. Prefer every subsequent album (except Let It Be) by them considerably.
Also the opener to ITAOTS is kind of a special song for my wife and I. That makes an easy choice easier.

 

By the time I got around to NMH I had already been exposed to so much of the stuff that they influenced, so while I enjoy it fine enough it never had much of an impact on me.

“In My Life” is one of my favorite Beatles songs so I’ll go with that
