I don't get people who didn't like this score. Only the main theme that plays when the "Rogue One" title comes up at the beginning doesn't sound very Star Wars-y, everything else fits right in without overly aping John Williams, IMO.

The main theme is Star Wars-y, but that doesn't mean it's good. I thought it sounded too cheesy.

Inspired me to watch this tonight.

The music is throwing me off a little after all the talk about it. Half great. Half off to me.

I was talking to a friend about what happens after these 3 episodes in the sky walker saga.

I want them to redo the prequels. Just fucking rewrite it and make the story about Ben Kenobi and adult anakin. Don't need to see him as child for a whole movie.

pipe dream but I want it bad

Gave this movie another go for the first time since the theater last night. Still did not work for me at all. The first 2/3 of this movie are so boring to me for reasons I can't fully explain.

Also, does Vader's voice bother anyone else in this movie? James Earl Jones' age is really starting to show.

I remember this score more than TFAs. Idk if that means it's good, I'd have to watch it again, but I definitely remember it alot more and I've seen TFA about 4 or 5 times now.

I thought it was fine when I saw it in theaters but I have no desire to buy it or even really see it again at all.

For example: I couldn't wait to rush out to the store to buy The Force Awakens on blu-ray and I still watch it regularly. I was in the store the other day and walked right by the Rogue One display without breaking stride. Hell, I didn't even realize it was out on blu-ray until I happened to see it in the store that day.

This gave me alot more of what I want out of a star wars film. Sets, aliens, planets, ships. More time to observe the weirdness of the universe instead of running break neck from point to point. It's got the best sets in a star wars since the OT. It's got the best cinematography of any star wars by alot.

I still love this movie. It is a slower build to the big climax, but I also enjoy old war films. this felt like Guns of Navarone, but Star Wars for me, and that really worked in my opinion. Not to mention, this was beautifully shot. One of my friends said he liked the movie, but for him the Jedi/Sith stuff is the most interesting, so I can see why this film wouldn't be for him necessarily.

My feeling is I enjoy the force awakens more than this movie but I actually feel that this is a better movie than tfa if that makes sense

If they can do this while keeping the Clone Wars series canon, I'm all for it.

I actually feel the opposite about both movies. Maybe it's because watching it on a smaller screen decreases the spectacle but both movies' major flaws really revealed themselves on 2nd viewing.

I don't know if it bothers me per se, but I definitely notice it each time I watch that scene.

My only issue is they almost don't cover his voice up as much and it almost sounds too much like James earl Jones

I have enjoyed TFA more and more after each viewing. I have only seen Rogue One three times and the third time I was pretty impatient for the third act. I like the first two thirds, but it's not that great.

It sounds okay in the beginning but it's like it generally degrades and sounds less Vader-esque over time. His final line in the movie when he's telling his troops to form a boarding party or whatever sounds like JEJ is struggling for breath.

I watched this last weekend again for I think was the 5th time. I really enjoy it, and it still holds up for me after seeing it multiple times. Not sure how I feel about the Han Solo movie though...

I'm kind of just expecting the Han Solo film to be a Guardians of the Galaxy/Indiana Jones type adventure film. I'm just going into that one expecting a fun popcorn flick, nothing more.

That's what happens when people play the same role 40 years later while their character stays the same age, they sound older ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
