damn, basically forgot

 

Good episode but its weird conceptually to start a season with what is essentially (I'm assuming) a one-off storyline. Definitely a sweet tribute to Luke, though. Teared up a few times.

 

What else were you expecting? Did you think they would be like “oh btw Fred died” randomly in the episode and move on? I had no problem with it at all and I got very teary as well. I’m glad they were able to spend an episode to say goodbye to Luke and Fred.

Pretty much all of the three seasons have had some extraneous plot points anyway so it won’t hurt the season whatsoever.

 

I think you're taking my post as much more critical than I meant jt haha. Of course I understand why they did it and I like the episode, I just meant it's a weird thing they had to do structurally since season premieres typically introduce all the season's myriad threads.

 

thought this was so well done. felt right in the world of the show while also honoring Luke on his own as well. a lot of the stories and way they talk about Fred feel right in line with how people talk about Luke

I think this episode finally convinced me to give up on the show lmao. It’s just too frustrating and ridiculous

also very tired of the whole 6 storylines each episode thing

 

I actually felt more like that last week

This week was fine in comparison

 

My sister teaches 16-18 year olds and apparently this show isn't cool anymore

 

My cousin who's like 17 gave up after the Black Hood stuff lol

 

When she got her new students in September, she tried to break the ice my saying "so who's excited for Riverdale coming back?" And apparently the room was dead silent lol

 

it's probably a bad thing if Jughead is buried alive and I'm just like it's okay if he dies, this show would be much better without him and Archie's plots at this point
they couldn't have used FP in the Scream homage huh
how many fucking serial killers are there in Riverdale

 

I missed the last four episodes from the previous season and haven’t watched at all this season (I’m aware of the Jughead plot line though)

worth catching up completely or just starting with this season?

 

The second to last episode was insane. Edgar had a rocket??? And that fucking suit? Lmao

this show is so stupid sometimes but I still enjoy it

 

I feel like a lot happened in the last few episodes of last season. I'd say it's worth catching up.

 

In the comics he wears an S on his shirt fairly often.

 

Ah gotcha. I was just curious because I don’t recall him ever wearing them before but now they’re the only shirts he wears lol.
