Yeah of course it is present day but then you have scenes like the courtroom ones and you’re just like what?
Not even the most ridiculous thing about this show though I’m sure.

 

It just made me laugh when in this past episode when Archie was like "we're from this small town called Riverdale" and i'm like have you seen this town you're in??? What would you call this?? A town for ants??????

 

Also let’s not pretend Riverdale wouldn’t constantly be in national news for the rampant teenage deaths and serial killers

Watched this last night and I actually felt it brought all the gargoyle king stuff back down to Earth a little bit. Like it has some logical explanations (for Riverdale) and it seems like the second half of the season is going to go a different direction with the town being quarantined and what not.

 

about to finish season 2 and... it's definitely something that's for sure. I roll my eyes a lot but it's a fun show to tune out everything else with.
