I feel like that’s a riff from something they already have out

edit: it’s from escape Artists from the black market

 

they need to record the song tim played on a solo acoustic tour years ago. if you are a hardcore rise against fan you know what song im talking about.

working title was restless world.

 

I also noticed instantly that it was Escape Artists which reminds me that that very same riff was used in the first teaser for The Black Market back when the marketing strongly implied that would be a self-titled album.

I'd be up for a re-recorded/re-worked Escape Artists, it's a good riff attached to an average song with the same problem as the rest of Black Market in that it feels somewhat disjointed.

Escape artists I’ve had since it’s came out and I have the single for the eco terrorist in me with about damn time and we will never forget

cool I finally will have them on Spotify when I have had them in iTunes or Apple Music for years

 

We will never forget isn’t even a song it’s spoken word or a dude reading something

 

That's disappointing. Especially since About Damn Time and We Will Not Forget went up onto streaming services a while ago. Can only assume this is part of a commitment to deliver another album to the label or something.

 

They are on virgin records now. The black market came out on interscope. Wolves and ghost notes is on virgin.

 

Yeah I don't know. I did just look it up and it is the 6th anniversary of the album's release today which makes it a tiny bit less random.

 

I just hope it’s the start of them Getting back out here and ramping up for the new album which I need and want now but don’t think it’s coming till very late this year or next year when they can tour again

 

It didn't sound like they even recorded it yet. For a band their size I would not expect a new full-length without a tour.

 

Tim said in the live stream for Dwp offstage they have new music. Idk if it’s done and recorded or not but they have it. I’m sure the entire album is written. They have to wait till the travel restrictions are lifted to go to Colorado to record. And I’m sure they have to work with bill Stevenson to find out a time to record. They’ve been writing for over a year now. They started last year around the ghost notes tour. They where planning on going into the studio late last year or early this year. I don’t want to wait a year for new rise when the world and fan base need it now

fuck yes everyone needs to ask about the new album

 

Cool to get those TBM b-sides officially released to streaming. TBM is a lot better of an album than I feel like most fans give it credit for. Only songs I'd consider up there with the "top tier" RA are I Don't Want to Be Here Anymore, Time + Tragedy, and People Live Here, but the entire album is solid 1-12 imo.
