Going to be hitting the irvine date. Super pumped. Never seen AFI, but rise always puts on a good show

AFI is stellar live...but Coheed and Cambria can turn someone who hates them in to a superfan...

Story of the Year has pretty much a universally-praised live show. They sound incredible and have a ton of energy on stage.

Also, I'm now realizing I have no idea how I got pulled into engaging with you...

 

Every time I went and saw SOTY back in the day I left satisfied.

 

I’m not sure what his definition of “brutal” is in this instance

 

Only time I saw SOTY was Warped Tour 2013 and it was a top notch set. Even my buddy who pretty much hates anything that isn't ska or 90s Fat Wreck Punk thought they were amazing.

 

Their live show has decreased in quality from when they had a full band (meaning Phil wasn't playing bass), but they're still good live.

In the past month I’ve seen 6 bands / artists who easily put on a way better show than AFI.

Fact not opinion. That’s how this works, right?

And that’s just in the last month. There are many many bands far superior.
